The piece looks like it is in flight and makes the marble appear as if it is delicate chiffon rippling in the wind.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eFor this project I decided to create some whimsical wings of my own and add some of my favorite vintage details.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch2\u003eWinged Victory Bottle Project Directions:\u003c\/h2\u003e \u003cp\u003eFor \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/Sandra-Evertson-Collection\"\u003ewings and medallion\u003c\/a\u003e, brush a thin coat of \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/paints?page=2\"\u003eGilt paint\u003c\/a\u003e onto each piece, dust with \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/glitters\"\u003eRust Mica Powder\u003c\/a\u003e while paint is still wet, then take a dry brush to dust off excess powder and to blend powder slightly with wet paint.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eFor large coin and cork, coat with gel medium, dust with \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/glitters\"\u003eRust Mica Powder\u003c\/a\u003e, then use a dry brush to remove excess powder. Adhere to \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/chipboard?page=3\"\u003ecameo circle\u003c\/a\u003e with strong adhesive.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTip: \u003c\/strong\u003eRust Mica Powder has an amazingly blendable texture, much like eye shadow. To keep it from rubbing off or getting smudged, seal all pieces with a clear acrylic sealing spray.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eBend the top loop on the medallion with a pair of pliers so that it is a straight line. Poke a hole in the bottle’s cork, and glue medallion to cork with a strong adhesive.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eSaw the ends off of each wing with a hacksaw and glue to the bottle with a strong adhesive. Glue vintage sheet music around the bottom of the bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eTint ribbon with \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/spray-inks\"\u003eTim Holtz Distress Spray Stain in Walnut Stain\u003c\/a\u003e. Tie around bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eUsing the rusty wire, attach the cameo circle with coin to one end of the chain and attach a medallion and Tim Holtz Philosophy Tag to the other end.
