The cogs and gears look like they are from a clock as the minutes tick by.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch2\u003eTIME Art Journal Page Directions:\u003c\/h2\u003e \u003cp\u003eFor this art journal page, I am working in an altered book as my art journal. Paint both pages with white gesso, but keep it thin so that the text shows through a little.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eLayer different pieces of paper from the Tim Holtz French Industrial paper pad with pieces of vintage sheet music on the pages. If vintage sheet music is still too white, spray with Frayed Burlap Distress spray ink.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eAdhere the different scraps to the page with gel medium. Brush gel medium over the top of these pages as well to seal them.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003ePaint sprockets and gears with Ocean paint. Let dry. Adhere at random spots on the page. Add rub-on or stamped letters in white to the page.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWater down Ocean paint and splatter a bit on the page.
