I wanted to use a mixture of mixed- media and different techniques in the background in order to really give the piece an “outside of the coloring book” look. Use water and a fine-tipped brush to blend and shade.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eOnce the piece is completely dry, use Faber-Castell Brush Pens to add pops of color.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eNext, stencil Platinum Crackle \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/\"\u003eTexture Paste\u003c\/a\u003e using a \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/color-tools\" target=\"\"\u003epalette knife\u003c\/a\u003e onto a sheet of cardstock or a journal page. Let dry.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eSpritz center of page with yellow \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/spray-inks\" target=\"\"\u003eink spray\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eStencil circle, lines, and dots with black acrylic paint using the Mini Ink Blending Tool. Once the paint is dry, using the same stencil, spritz pink \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/spray-inks\"\u003eink spray\u003c\/a\u003e through the harlequin pattern.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eArrange metal rimmed grubby tag and large grubby tag and image onto the background.
