Not this year, however. This year I hit the ground running once the calendar turned to November.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWe’ve decided to get a bigger tree than usual, and I know I’m going to be scrambling to find additional ornaments to hang upon it when the time comes. I never tire of creating ornaments out of various test tubes, so that’s exactly what I did. To start, I cut a small piece of an artist paper from \u003cem\u003eSomerset Studio\u003c\/em\u003e 1\/2 inch shorter than the test tube. Next, I rolled it up so I could insert into the tube. I pushed the cork into place and then wrapped twine around it, securing it with a small knot. I threaded thin wire through a metal word tag, tucking one end of it behind the twine, and then twisted the wire together to create a hoop for hanging.
