I know, you’re probably wondering why I didn’t purchase something nice and unique, but these women love their gift cards, trust me! Instead of trying to “reinvent the wheel,” I turned to my tried-and-true wrapping secret: glassine envelopes! \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI don’t know what it is about glassine envelopes, but they seem to make everything extra beautiful. I wanted to keep this project simple and pretty, much like the recipients, so I pulled out only a few supplies to work with. First, I cut a piece of vintage botanical-inspired patterned paper so it would easily slip inside the envelope. Depending on the design of the paper, you can write a nice note on the backside. place your gift card behind the paper, and seal the envelope. Punch two holes at the top of the envelope and tie with a ribbon. Swipe a bit of white acrylic paint on the envelope and, when dry, top with a word sticker. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese envelopes would also make the perfect package for a nice necklace or bracelet, money, or anything else that is flat.
