While the paper was drying, I stamped the bird onto some regular muslin fabric. I then cut out a piece of green felt in the shape of a house and free motion stitched the house onto the paper. I then stamped the nest birdie onto some lined school paper and cut some long strips of vintage ephemera. I used these strips to make a nest that I adhered with gel medium. Next, I free motion stitched some leaves using felt and ephemera under the nest.
