The lid of the cigar box has a section cut out in the shape of a rectangle with a sheet of acrylic covering the cut out section. The edges of the acrylic sheet have a decorative finish-similar to the edges of a postage stamp. To cut the edges of the acrylic, try using the jewelers saw. On the inside of the cigar box a wood block was attached to the center and then a sheet of metal was attached on top of the wood. The metal sheet was then spray painted red.
