I decided to alter my chalkboard a little to add a little whimsy.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Using various colors of \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/paints\"\u003eLiquitex acrylic paint\u003c\/a\u003e, I painted some fun borders around the main border and a blue scallop edge along the bottom of the compartments.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e If you feel like it needs a little extra something around the edges, layer a few styles of \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/washi-tapes\"\u003ewashi tape\u003c\/a\u003e to create a fun effect.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Using the \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/chalks-and-colored-pencils\"\u003epink chalk marker\u003c\/a\u003e, drawer seven rows, or alternatively a 7 x 4 grid and write the days of the week along the top of the top row.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Use some of your favorite black and white family photographs, along with the \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/kelly-rae-roberts-collection\"\u003eKelly Rae Roberts magnets\u003c\/a\u003e and use your board to communicate (creatively) with your loved ones every week.
