I started the project with an idea in mind, but felt blocked, uncertain, and not ready to complete it. It sat on the shelf in my office for weeks, until inspiration struck last week.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWhile I was busy over-thinking ways to finish it, the piece spoke to me. By simply adding a rustic tin heart and the words “Be Still,” the project was complete.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch2\u003eBe Still Amazing Alterables Project Directions:\u003c\/h2\u003e \u003cp\u003eCollage Melange Tissue Wrap onto the body and arms of the Amazing Alterable, attaching with \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003egel medium\u003c\/a\u003e. Set aside to dry.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003ePaint the remaining pieces with white \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eDistress Paint\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eUse a dry foam brush to apply turquoise \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/?page=3\"\u003epaint\u003c\/a\u003e to lightly coat all of the pieces. Add highlights of yellow Distress Paint.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eGlue \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/collections-tim-holtz\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eSprocket Gear\u003c\/a\u003e to the body, and then attach the face.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eOnce the head is dry, glue all of the pieces together with gel medium.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eAdorn the alterable with pearl embellishments.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eGlue \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/collections-tim-holtz\"\u003eChitChat Words Stickers\u003c\/a\u003e to the center of the tin heart.
