I used the Relics \u0026amp; Artifacts Archival Cast as the doll face attached to the wooden moving doll pieces. With closed eyes, raising her head in the beauty of her dreams and confidence as she sits on my art desk. My daily muse to rise and live my dreams — to “move and shake.”\u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch2\u003eDreamer of Dreams Project Directions:\u003c\/h2\u003e \u003cp\u003eUsing oil pastel crayons and \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/\"\u003ewatercolor pencils\u003c\/a\u003e, paint in skin tone and hair color onto face.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003ePaint PaperWhimsy doll with eggshell \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/\"\u003echalkboard paint\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eAttach the chipboard doll pieces together using jump rings.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eStamp dress pattern onto \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/paper-collections\/\"\u003epatterned paper\u003c\/a\u003e with black ink.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eCut out the dress pieces from the pattern paper.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eUse a palette knife to apply \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/\"\u003egel medium\u003c\/a\u003e to attach the dress to the PaperWhimsy chipboard doll. Allow time for the doll to dry completely and the wooden doll pieces to set properly with the adhesive.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eUse a distressing tool to distress areas of the dress. Thread white thread into the holes of the vintage buttons. Attach the buttons to the dress with glue dots.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eGlue Dresden trim to the bottom edge of the dress with gel medium.
