So when I saw the Christmas-inspired Metal Word Bands, I knew that I had to make a project with them.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCustomized Gift Box Project \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eInstructions:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cdiv\u003e\u003col\u003e \u003cli\u003eFirst, tear corrugated cardboard to preferred size; mine are approximately 3-1\/2 by 4 inches.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eNext, dry brush \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/mixed-media-supplies\/\"\u003egesso\u003c\/a\u003e onto both sides of a vintage book page, and let dry. \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/rubber-art-stamps\"\u003eStamp\u003c\/a\u003e images onto the center of the book page with black ink. Tear the book page to be a bit smaller than the size of the cardboard, and adhere to the cardboard with gel medium.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eSpray a section of ivory \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/ready-to-alter\/\"\u003eburlap\u003c\/a\u003e with Fresh Lime Dylusions Ink Spray, and set aside to dry.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eWhile the burlap dries, add a good dollop of gel medium onto the side of the stamped text and cardboard, and then add Frosted Mica Flakes. Set aside to dry.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eCut a strip of your newly painted burlap to fit across the bottom of the cardboard. Layer the burlap and \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/collections-tim-holtz\"\u003emetal word band\u003c\/a\u003e in place, and then pierce a hole through the burlap and word band, and attach with a brad.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003ePierce two holes at the top of the cardboard, and string with \u0026gt;wire.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eRepeat to create as many ornaments as you like.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003c\/ol\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Free Projects","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45452524683415,"sku":"PROJ-0920","price":0.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0659\/5546\/3319\/files\/proj-0920__29167.1558402981.1280.1280.jpg?v=1746793168","url":"https:\/\/stampington.live\/products\/a-very-merry-christmas-holiday-project","provider":"Stampington \u0026 Company","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
