Layer two flowers on top of the paper. I used Diamond Glaze adhesive. I chose some orange and white patterned fabric to keep it \"Halloween\" looking. I sewed a ruffled strip of the fabric along the top edge of the bag. Mix an additional ½ ounce of ICE Resin and pour into the shrines. Allow to dry for 24 hours before handling.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eCreate a knot in the end of the stringing thread and place clamshell clasp onto thread. Close clamshell with a pair of flat nose pliers. String 14 beads onto thread. Create a knot at the end pulling very close and tight to the top of the pear. Place a second clamshell on this end and close. Repeat for the adjacent side. \u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e With a 1\/8” drill bit create a hole at the top and the bottom of the bird shrines. Repeat this by creating a hole at the top of the shrine pendant. Place a 10mm jump ring through each of the holes you drilled in all pendants. Place open end of clamshell over jump ring and close with round nose pliers, repeat this on the adjacent side as well as the bottom jump rings of both bird pendants. \u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e To the top of the bird located on the left side when facing you, sting leather cording. Once the cording is through the hole, pull the other end of the leather up so the two ends meet. Cut an 8” piece of 20 gauge gunmetal wire and wrap around base of the leather cording to hold in place. Trim any excess with wire cutters. Tie a knot in the cording above the wrapped wire. Place one Mother of Pearl button onto the cording and tie a second knot approximately 3” from the last. Repeat this until 5 buttons are on the leather cording. \u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Place two ends of cording through the top jump ring of the remaining bird shrine, allowing approximately 1” of cording to overlap. Cut an 8” piece of 20 gauge gunmetal wire and wrap closed, trimming any excess wire. Add silk ribbon at the top of the shrine as well as the bottom of both birds. (Have fun here. I didn't add glitter, but you could. Or beads on her dress. You could embroider her dress! The possibilities in embellishing her are endless.) Sew around the image for a decorative border. (Don't worry about it being straight, I don't.) \u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e With a Paint Stripper heat tool burn the edges of the fabric. Please be careful. As long as you aim it at the fabric and not yourself, you will be safe. This technique gives it the western gypsy look. Dye decorative fabric in Tan Ritt dye or coffee stain. Let dry. Sandwich fabric behind the girl and one at a time sew with a machine. Bunch scrap fabrics together and sew one line down the center all at once. Cut out flowers from ribbons and place on top of wool roving. Sew it in a whimsical haphazard manner. Glue sewed fabrics onto tote bag. Hand sew crochet flowers and scrap fabrics to border. Trim the lower fabric into the shape of the butterfly that is a little larger than the canvas. Glue some jewels to the butterfly. Stamp the butterfly again on an old credit card or other piece of plastic. Trim loosely around the image, and this will serve as a backing for the painted butterfly.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 16px;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #cc8108;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAttach the butterfly to the chain:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Cut a chain that is about 3-4 inches in length. Lay the middle of the chain over the plastic butterfly, and attach with hot glue. This technique is great because you can basically turn a piece of your favorite patterned paper into a piece of fabric and then create wearable art or use the canvas fabric in your mixed-media artwork.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e First choose a piece of patterned paper that you love. I used papers from the Radiant collection. Cut the paper and a piece of canvas down to the same size. Peel the sticky of the canvas and lay the paper down (the side of the paper you want will go face down onto the sticky side). Burnish with a bone folder. Fill a mini mister with water and spray the canvas piece generously. Start rubbing with your finger to peel off the top layer of paper. You will need to keep spraying the water as you go to help the paper come off. You will slowly start to see you patterned paper revealed. Once you have rubbed off as much of the paper as possible, you will notice that some small white pieces of paper pulp will still be on the canvas so to get those off you can rub some Multi Medium Matte into the canvas to get the white pieces off. Use an embroidery needle with thread to add a French knot detail to the bird's eye. Use pinking shears to trim around the top and bottom edges of the batting. It will need to but cut out exactly the same size as the glass you are working with, for this project I used the Oval Glass 1½ \"x 2\". Sandwich the image between the two oval glass pieces and wrap the foil tape (either the tape in included in the soldering kit or one of the other sizes we have available) around the edges of the glass. Burnish the tape down onto the glass on both sides. Once you have done that, you can trim off some of the tape on the glass if needed using an exacto knife. Brush flux over the foil and with your soldering tool and lead free solder start adding solder to the edges. Once you have done the edges, take two decorative corners and paint with flux then use your pliers or the small clamp to hold the piece while you cover it with solder.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Any decorative metal embellishment will have to paint \"painted\" with the solder before you attach them which is explained in more detail in the book. It took approximately 2 -12\" strips, plus one small piece underneath to cover the outside edges. When glue is dry, make slits in the paper to reattach the handle. Be careful to not over bend the metal so it doesn't break.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e To embellish; use your favorite vintage image attached with adhesive pop dots, sparkly chipboard letters, chipboard swoosh shapes with coordinating glitter glued on, and some of the stickers from Christine Adolph’s holiday paper set. For decorating the handles, use coordinating ribbons and ric-rac cut in short pieces tied onto the handle and then create tags with some of the Christine Adolph papers and your favorite tag maker (I used a kit from Making Memories) embellish with a few of the stickers from the paper kit, tie the tags onto some of the ribbons that are left a bit longer! And Voila! Done!\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e The thing that I loved about creating this project is, with the beauty of the Christine Adolph papers and the ease of the blank lunchbox, this was a super fast project.
