Use them as a notebook, recipe book, mini scrapbook and more. The 7gypsies Binderie Punch (5SG-10074) makes it so easy to punch holes in the chipboard covers. Watch our how-to video that is courtesy of 7gypsies to learn more about the Binderie Punch. Cut out 24 pieces of white cardstock that measure approx. 3 3/8" x 5 ¼". The covers measure 3 ½" x 5 ½" so by cutting the inner pages slightly smaller the pages will fit nicely. You will use 12 pages for each book. Using the Binderie Punch (5SG-10074), punch the holes in the Paris and Roma covers (5SG-11095 & 5SG-11094) and then do the holes in the white cardstock so that they match up to the holes punched in the covers. Spray all the pages with Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist (5TA-WALNUT) and allow to dry. Bind the books using the small binding rings (5SG-12502). With whimsical stamps by Catherine Moore of Character Constructions and Royal Brads and Embellishments by Creative Imaginations this is not hard to accomplish in a couple of hours. Begin with a piece of chipboard, cardboard or canvas measuring 9" x 12". At bottom cut 1" using either deco scissors or scallop blade. With crème acrylic paint, paint your background. Once dry add layers of vintage French clip art, and vintage wallpaper as well as vintage music sheets. Continue adding layers of paper to background until the result is what you desire. Using Onyx Black Versa Fine ink by Tsukinedo, stamp your images by Character Constructions — Mad Tea Party No. 2 onto crème cardstock. Cut out all doll parts assembling skirt and torso. Glue the legs onto the background positioned in the middle of your piece. To the back of your figure (skirt and torso) glue an old pencil or piece of dowel to stabilize, set aside to dry. Once everything has dried glue the figure onto the background, additional of foam (from a kneeling pad) are a great item used to stabilize the piece. To the front of the figure add pink tulle and satin ribbon. To the head of your figure add crown brad by Creative Imaginations. To the right side of your background add an additional strip of vintage paper that has been adorned with a Fleur de Lis brads from the Royalty Embellishments (5CI-18831 - DISCONTINUED) by Creative Imaginations. To the front of your figure add Carpe Diem scroll (5CI-18821 - DISCONTINUED) to the skirt also by Creative Imaginations. Tea dye a manila folder by brewing a strong tea, pour into the bottom of a broiler pan and add half of a regular sized office manila folder: allow to soak until it has reached the color you desire. This is usually between ten and fifteen minutes. Remove folder from tea bath and air dry on a rack or paper toweling. Cut out a small bird from one of the papers in the collection and set aside. Stamp woman's torso and arms from French Laundry Plate #11 (5CC-FL11), as well as, the roots and trunk from the tree stamp on Nature Study Plate #1 (5CC-NS01), onto the tea dyed manila folder and cut out. Stamp this same torso image onto another color of paper, in this case light blue and just cut out the bow and shirt. Affix the bow and shirt to the tea dyed image and set aside. Stamp the nest onto vintage ledger paper and, again, onto another piece of the artist's paper which features eggs the same color as your background paper. Cut out the entire ledger paper nest without the overhanging twigs and just the inside egg area of the other, then, glue the egg area to the ledger nest in the appropriate place. After deciding the placement of your figure on the background paper, glue the stump/roots image into place, then, stamp the nest in the appropriate area: glue the cut out nest over the stamped image lining up the overhanging twigs. Glue the torso onto the paper and over the top part of the nest. Arrange the arms so that the cut out bird will be cradled in the hands and glue all down. Using the wheat colored ink from Hero Arts Shadow Inks (5HA-SIWHE - DISCONTINUED) distress a red Per Via Aerea, oval and rectangular label from Cavallini's Vintage Label set (5CPLABEL-VIN). Stamp the bee from Nature Study Plate #1 (5CC-NS01) with black ink onto the oval label and the tree in the round from French Laundry Plate #9 (5CC-FL09) onto the rectangular label. Place all labels as shown. Stamp the small bird on a branch from the French Laundry #11 (5CC-FL11) onto the very top of the Per Via Aerea label in black ink, as well.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0659/5546/3319/files/PROJ-0554__52515.1558394056.1280.1280.jpg?v=1746792246
free-how-to-project-12-days-of-christmas
12 Days of Christmas Project

By Christen Olivarez

Cut cardstock into 3 2-inch wide strips. Once that color has dried use a white acrylic paint (5MA-23751) and distress over the blue using the paint comb from the Making Memories distressing kit (5MA-2355). Paint the entire accordian book roughly with brown acrylic paint (5MA-23751). Cut papers from Nesting Grounds Collection No. 2 (5CC-NGC01) to size, distress edges of paper with a dark brown ink (5TH-TIM19534) and adhere to book as shown in picture. Using regular notepad paper tear out approximately 16 sheets roughly and submerge in coffee then allow to dry. For best results hang with a peg on a hanger. Once dried distress papers with dark brown ink (5TH-TIM19534) and staple about 4 sheets together then attach groups of 4 on each page by gluing the bottom sheet on the album. Embellish grubby tags (5GG-GRUBTAG-LG) using leftover scraps from the Nesting Grounds Collection No. 2 (5CC-NGC01), Wild Saffron Die Cut Tags (5KC-567719) and Edwardian Appliqué Frames (5HH-CX708). Attach the finished Grubby Tags to note pages. For a finishing touch add brown paper ribbon strips ( 5KC-542235) on pages as desired. On the front page of the accordian album add a white keyhole (5HH-CXGLOUW). To decorate the outside box use the tree paper from the Nesting Grounds Collection, cut out the tree then adhere to box. Add a Grubby Tag (5GG-GRUBTAG-LG) at the bottom of the cover and adhere a brown swirl rub-on from the Wild Saffron Rub-Ons pack (5KC-592346).
